At Desana we love a workspace recommendation - and we love finding out why someone likes a space.

We asked our friends at MyTutor what spaces they’ve been loving and why.

Read on for some top tips! Who knows, maybe you’ll find your new favourite space.

Will, Head of People

Fav guilty pleasure spot: Neighbourhood Works, London Fields, London

Only a seven minute walk from my house, down Broadway Market and through London Fields, it has all the benefits of a nice, light space with good desk setups and call booths, but still means I can wander on home for a nice home-cooked lunch. If it’s a treat day, though, you can also nip across the road to bread & truffle for a delicious focaccia.

Mike, People Operations Manager

Fav space outside London: Work.Life, Manchester

Just two minutes’s walk from Market Street in Piccadilly, this is great when you need to grab a train. A comfortable space with many call booths, meeting rooms and with a new coffee machine + beer/pizza/treat days - what's not to love?!

Fav south London spot: Oru Space, East Dulwich, London

One for the Southerners: Oru Space oozes relaxed, boujie vibes. The desk space is pretty minimalistic and not one for hours of phone calls/meetings, but for head down work with a suntrap roof terrace and then only 10 minutes’ walk to the mighty Voodoo Rays in Peckham for post-work pizza...this is about the destination not the desk.

Fav space for a lunchtime hit: Landmark, Chancery Lane, London

Always quiet and with two phone booths, it's great for getting s**t done. Leather Lane offers amazing lunch choices (sit in the park two roads away to eat and chill) but the real win is Lincoln Inn Fields tennis courts which are five minute’s run (good warmup) from the front door.
