We are super excited to have The Maker Station on the Desana app, which gives businesses access to flexible workspaces and coworking office spaces.

Why do we love The Maker Station?

The Maker Station is home to plenty of illustrators, jewellery-makers and artists, making it a pretty inspiring place. As well as working alongside these creatives, if you see something you like you might be able to buy it, as there is also a shop attached where these makers can sell their own stuff.

After work, get your creative juices flowing with one of their many classes or workshops (for Valentine’s this year they had a workshop on how to turn your ex’s clothes into a doormat).

Where is it?

Brentford, London

How do I get there?

It's a 12 minute walk from Brentford Station or Kew Bridge Station. If travelling by tube, its 25 minutes walk from Gunnersbury and 25 minutes from South Ealing.

What can I do nearby?

The Maker Station is right beside the River Thames so it’s in a great position to go for a stroll around this green area (Kew Gardens is just across the river). But that doesn’t mean you are stuck for things to do - literally next door is Watermans, an arts centre which hosts live performances of music, theatre and comedy, as well as having a cinema and restaurant too.

What’s it got?

  • Tea and coffee
  • Shops nearby
  • Wheelchair friendly
  • Bicycle storage
